Probably a viral infection, not your job. The temperature of your job doesn't make you sick. It can weaken your immune system, but it cannot make you sick.

Added: some medications like Valsartan (family of ARA II) against blood pressure have the side effects of causing this rebel cough. If you take it, go see your doctor to change your medicine.
It was my case to cough for months and treated with antibiotics and cough suppressants without any effects until I urged my incredulous doctor to change my treatment. I am now taking amlodipine 5mg (L-type calcium channel antagonist) and my cough disappeared in 15 days.

i would talk to your doctor about it and find out if youre allergic to something
