If a phone is being paid off and the credit is applied within 24 months, can that sim be used in a different phone at the same time?

That used to be that you could take the SIM card out of the phone and just put it in another phone and it would work. But as of this month because so many people are getting stolen phones and because they're getting the free upgrade phones and turning around and selling them now the phone companies are registering the SIM cards to the issn number of the telephone. Now when you take the SIM card out and put it into another phone it's going to report your phone as stolen and crash your account and you won't be able to get it turned back on until you go to your phone company with the phone. There's still some companies that you can get away with doing it but it's not going to work for much longer and I tell you it's a pain in the butt you got to stand in line for about 3 hours.

As long as you keep paying, it doesn't much matter what you do with the SIM card.
