How do I join an ethnic club?

I am interested in meeting and making friends with people of different cultural backgrounds. How would I go about joining a club of a certain ethnic group? I'm interested in meeting Greek and Italian people. There are a couple of clubs for that in my area. How would I go about getting in contact and asking how to join or be apart of either? I'm not Greek or Italian myself, but am passionate about their culture and heritage. Any tips on sending an email to them and enquiring? Thanks
