更新1:

True Christians fled persecution and by them the gospel was preached outside Jerusalem and into other nations afar. The church left in Jerusalem, became apostate with a mixture of pagan and Christian beliefs melded together, from it descended or evolved the major apostate religion of today and its offshoots. True?

That matter was warned about in Acts 20:29-31. Compare Matthew 7:15-20, 2 Peter 3:16.

The Gospel was first preached to all the "lost sheep" of Israel, then to the whole world. There was never a shortage of scoffers, charlatans and unbelievers - particularly in ancient Judea and Samaria. Same remains true, today.
