The Trinity doctrine developed with Tertullian, a Roman Catholic church father. If you examine his diagram (you can Google image search it), and know what the Scriptures say - you will notice that the diagram has both truth and lies. While it is true that God is the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit -- Tertullian then makes distinctions which God does not make. Both Tertullian and the Jehovah's Witnesses misunderstand the nature of the Holy Spirit, and also protestants of the pentecostal denomination who believe in modalism. God the Father is the Holy Spirit... this is how God is One. The One and Only God, the Spirit, was in the Son. Jesus said that the Father was in Him.
And He speaks more about this in detail in the book of John. Isaiah 9:6 says that the Son would be called Everlasting Father and Mighty God. Jesus is both fully God and fully man. He was put to death, as it is explained in the Bible - because He, being a man made Himself equal to God. Jesus said before Abraham was I Am. Jesus was charged with blasphemy.
Only God can be worshiped, and Jesus received worship as God by the early Christians. The Jehovah's Witness sect and even Roman Catholicism did not exist until years after Jesus was resurrected and departed from this world. Jesus didn't start either of those organizations, but His Truth has always been of the Scriptures. Going back to the nature of God's Spirit. People have trouble understanding how God can be in the earth and in heaven at the same time, and yet the Bible explains that God is not like us, and we cannot compare ourselves to Him.
His nature is not like our own. The Spirit of God is able to occupy both heaven and earth (see Jeremiah 23:24). Like a cloud is vast, the Spirit of God is also vast. And like a cloud is able to be both in the sky and also send out a funnel or tornado upon the earth. The Spirit is also able to be sent out from God, while remaining attached, and not disconnected from the Spirit in heaven - it's not two different Spirits, but one and the same Spirit.
Just as the funnel/tornado remains attached to the main structure, the Spirit is not disconnected from the Spirit, and God remains One. God demonstrated His ability to place His Spirit in an earthen vessel in the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament, and that was the pre-picture of what He would do in another earthen vessel, the bigger picture - in the flesh of man - in Jesus Christ. Jesus said if you have seen Him, then you have seen the Father. I and my Father are One. Please consult John chapter 14 (see link below)
