What is best harddrive between Seagate Backup Plus and Seagate Extension? (Same TB, cost doesn't matter)?

Simply said, I recently heard that Backup Plus was not meant to last the long run. I haven t confirmed this to be true or not, though I do know Seagate Backup plus is a bit more expensive (not an issue).

The size I am buying is going to be around 4-5 TB, so I would like to know if this hard drive will survive without dying on me.

My line of work involves around 3D-modelling, interior design, 3D-modelling, sculpting, video-editing, a lot of images/references and so on. So there will be a lot of files.
