Why do Nicolaitans say Jesus is their Master and Lord, but they freely, knowingly and willingly choose to obey His enemy the devil and sin?

I think 99.9% of people want to stop sinning - they just don't know how to stop doing it

there are many such "christian" cults that believe they follow Jesus, but in reality their doctrine hangs on some particular "truth" that they believe only they have.
