Is it safe to wash it so soon after having highlights? I’m worried I will wash some of the colour out 😟

Your highlights will fade and lighten over time; that's inevitable. There's nothing you can do about it. Yes, you can wash your hair. Try using a shampoo for color-treated hair.

As highlights are done with bleach, washing your hair will not wash the colour out. It might feel greasy because of the toner, and will usually take a couple of washes to fully come out. Try using a shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair so that it doesn't break or damage further, and even try a purple shampoo and conditioner so that it helps the colour from going brassy.

Highlights are usually done with bleach not color. You should be safe to wash your hair, but do use a shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, to help prevent your hair from fading too quickly.

You can wash it. It's permanent, you can't wash it out. I always use shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair - which may or may not extend the vibrance of the color or highlights - but I think it helps.
