因為用action verb的簡單式現在分詞earning當作修飾語時，描述的應該是一個「正在進行的行為」，但這句講的是最終的結果：獲得了學位。所以我們修飾名詞person時，要用「不定詞」to earn，或是完成式的分詞having earned。時間邏輯才不會出問題。
