Can I see how much electricity my house is using?

Is there a website or app to show live data of my current electricity usage? Or what is the box outside my house? Does it say anything that I can use as data? I would like to be able to track it and record the data. Live data or as close to live data as I can get is best. Thank you. (This is a very general basic question, I know nothing about electric bills and other home owning basics and I don’t know any current technology out there to produce data like this for me) thanks.

I get a usage figure (and a history to compare it to) with each of my bills. I can also go online with my power company and get it that way too. I would hazard a guess that most power companies would do the same (i.e. you don't necessarily have to find out through a third party).
Your bill will tell you what your meter read at the previous month and how much your meter reads in the current month. It'll give you the difference in kWh and will usually give you an average daily usage amount.

If you look at the meter outside, you can record where the numbers currently are and then check it around the same time each day. That number tells you how many kWh have been used since the meter was installed.

Yes record the numbers on your power meter on a certain day of the month then every seven days record the numbers again go on Google and read about how to read a power meter and how to subtract the bottom number from the top and see how many kilowatt hours you have used find out how much your power company charges per kilowatt-hour and you can actually chart week by week how much power your using.

Where I am, PGE's website will show me that data (not quite live, but close). Maybe your utility does too.

Yes.
The kilowatt hour meter on the house is your first source of information.

Unless you have a smart meter and you have access, you will need to add another device.

$299 is about 4 months worth of electricity.

Phone your electrical company first and ask them.

first, you should know the consumed power of your devices ....
for example ... your tv is 50 watts ..
you watch 10 hours a day so for a month...
50 x 10 x 30 = 15000 watt-hours or 15 kwh
estimate all your devices you use then compare it with the meter

if a naked wire touches an iron on a wet wall ... you will have to pay for it...
