If you change yourself in the proper ways, you become happy REGARDLESS of what is happening with your outer reality.

We cannot control what happens in life, and life is change that we cannot predict. Happiness is a state of mind, and as such it comes only FROM within our mind.
However, if we tell ourselves that this or that needs to happen before we can become happy ... we are setting ourselves up to be unhappy.

A matter or situation regarded by you (with or without agreement from others) as unwelcome or harmful and needing to be dealt with and overcome are only problems if you say so.
