How do I calculate Work Function with only threshold Frequency and Plancks Constant?

W = hv,
where W is the work function,
v is the threshhold frequency,
and h is Planck's constant.

Let W the the energy after the interaction and W0 be the energy before interaction. You have
W0= W + work function. If W is 0, this is when all energy is used to ectract the electron. then W=0. This gives W0= work unction= h nu. h is the plank constant and nu is the frequency.
