Why didnt the avengers eat thanos after thor beheaded him isnt it a waste of meat? Also what would he have tasted like?

Not sure how that's a plothole, but what makes you think Thanos is non-toxic to humans? I mean he's purple? How many purple animals are nutritious? Not many.
