Do women need sex in a relationship?

Some do and some do not.

The best way for a woman to understand this dynamic is to relate it to another physiological need. If you've had a baby, you may relate to the experience of milk building up in your breasts a few days after giving birth.

They need to have sex even if they feel like it to trap the male companion it is a tool.....

women are not all the same, some are highly sexed, some avg, some quite dulled.....and some have medical issues, some properly diagnosed some not.....

There's no monolithic "women." Some women would be fine having a sexless relationship. Other women would be miserably unhappy. Same as men. I'd say the fraction of women with absolutely no interest in sex is quite small.
