What should you do if you feel faint while giving a presentation at school (highschool)?

I'm not talking about feeling nervous I'm mean like feeling faint for an unrelated reason that just happens while you're doing a presentation (not eating that day, a medical condition you have, dehydration ect)

Stop your presentation and sit down

Drink water

- Breathe slowly in and out, control it
- Drink some water to help with feeling dehydrated
- Practice before going up and be the first to start or second but don’t go last because everyone will be paying attention. And don’t worry, you’re not alone as many people are scared to go up there in front of the class to present their project. They are likely to pay more attention towards the last people than the first volunteers.
- Don’t overthink it and memorise every line or add to them and give them your best shot

Good luck. It’s not easy especially if you have social anxiety, are shy, or just very nervous giving the speech.

Take a deep breath and pick out one person your friends with and talk to them as if no one else is there.

Talk with the school counselor or psychologist. They’re there to help

Act like you are not faint yet.
