Is it unethical to not disclose hsv-2 status if you dont sleep with a person?

So my ex transferred herps to me, and now we arent together anymore. Ive been seeing someone else but i dont plan to sleep with him for 2 reasons. 1. Im a diplomat being transferred in 3 months and i'd never risk his health, and 2. I have never and would never sleep around.
This new guy is really amazing, hence why im having trouble pushing him out of my life since its not so convinient. He's been wanting sexual contact, but he knows my stance of not sleeping with ppl im not emotionally connected. I did go down on him, since i dont have oral herps. Is it wrong to not disclose my dark secret? Would it be even more wrong if i let him touch me (of course making sure he doesnt touch himself afterwards, as i think that would be risky right?)?? Any input?

Be honest with him. Have a private chat with him and tell him. If he still wants to be with you, then it's his choice. If you don't tell him and he contracts herpes, he can try to sue you if he figures out whom it came from. Then also your 'secret' will be out. It's more amoral not unethical to not disclose. If you think you should tell him then tell him.
Herpes isn't passed through just touching. It can be passed during intercourse while or around the time you have a break out. Use a condom when you're in between break outs and consider taking antiviral medication. Antiviral medication, when taken regularly can help reduce your chances of passing herpes on when you're in between break out.
