Why am I losing points on Yahoo when I'm. A seeker of truth who asks honest questions and answers truthfully?

You are delusional. Anyone that looks at your posting history can see you are just another boring troll with no original material.

1. Asking questions costs you 5 pts
2. Not selecting a BA for your question means you don't get 3 of those 5 pts back
3. Having your question or answer removed as a violation (even if it wasn't a violation) costs you 10 pts
4. Appealing the removal of a question/answer and losing your appeal costs you 10 pts

What you are seeking is irrelevant. The site has Terms of Service and Community Guidelines we all agreed to abide by (in order to have a Yahoo account in the first place). You're free to appeal the removal of any post you feel wasn't a violation, but you only have 7 days after the post's removal to appeal and if you aren't notified of the removal then you can't appeal what you aren't aware of.

If that is the case, why do you care about points?

Also, asking a question uses points, so there is that. That is how the site works.

Users believe you are breaking the rules of the site and they are reporting you. If you want to know the reason for the violation, post "Why was this question (answer) a violation?" and add the original e-mail you got and/or any details you remember so the users can see the exact context. The experienced users here will explain it to you. Many times the violation is not in the question, but in the added details and updates.

IF you ask more questions than you give answers, then you will gradually lose more points.
