英文的問題，求解！?

had had是「過去完成式」，用在過去發生的兩動作中先發生的那一件，後發生的那一件用「簡單過去式」。
但本句並無兩件過去的事。而ever（曾經）的時間點是截至目前為止，所以用「現在完成式」動詞have ever had。
It was ....用「簡單式過去式」，因為所述是「過去」為真的事實。
如果寫作it is....，be動詞用「簡單現在式」則表示「永遠」為真。不符邏輯，因為以後我無法確知以後不會有更棒的旅行。

It was the most exciting trip that I have ever had.
它是我曾經擁有的最刺激的旅行。

簡單的說
"我曾經擁有最..........."
這樣的語意，都是指"到目前為止"比較出的經驗，即是"在目前為止，最刺激的"當然必須以現在完成式來表達。
而"那次旅行"是過去發生的，故使用過去式was.

=eg:-It was the most exciting trip that I had ever had before I died------No past perfect tense mentioned.
eg:-I had had the exciting trip last week before I died today suddenly-------No past perfect tense mentioned also.

was代表過去發生的trip
但到現在還是很刺激，所以是用現在完成式
原句可看成It was the most exciting trip that I have ever had
that子句是補充說明那場旅行

這個問題牽涉到發生時間奌且句中用了二個時式:過去式及現在完成式，本句顯然是指過去並持續進行至現在，所以首段是將過去時間指出用was，而持續至現在用have had。
至於為何不能用过去完成式，因為用此時式必須發生事件比过去事件之前，例如I had never seen such a beautiful beach before I went to this place. 在我未到此處之前，從未看到如此美的海灘，所以用法有所區別
本句若改疹It had been the most exciting trip before I had. (Ok)

簡單來說就是had要有兩個動作
一個動作用have就好
