Isn't it really unjustified for people of other religions who never got to hear Gospel of Christ, to go to hell?

I personally don't think eternal torture would be just for ANYONE. Not even Hitler! Like.. do you guys realize what the word "eternal" even means? :S

If a person responds positively to the revelation they are given, God will see to it that they are given more relevation. Everyone whose heart is open to the Gospel message will hear it (Acts 17:26-27). Sean mentioned Rom. 2 which also shows that we are all without excuse.

Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute. Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave (1 Cor. 15:3-4). The Bible is clear that salvation is not by our good works. The only condition for receiving everlasting life is to believe in Jesus for that free gift! It really is that simple.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).

There's no eternal hell, period, and God certainly does not weigh anything against people who "didn't know". Seriously, that's a sad picture of a God that is claimed to be "love".

They don't necessarily go to hell:

For when people of the nations, who do not have the Law, do by nature the things of the Law, these people, although not having the Law, are a law unto themselves.  They are the very ones who demonstrate the matter of the Law to be written in their hearts, while their conscience is bearing witness with them, and by their own thoughts they are being accused or even excused. Romans 2:14 -15

All goodness and love coming from God, those who are good and loving are pleasing in his eyes.

God is not unjust - He loves this world so much that He not only sent His Son to die for our sins, but in addition, Jesus commissioned all Christians to preach to others who have never heard the truth - in order that those who don't yet know will hear and be given the same choice to receive Christ as Saviour.

If you and me and other Christians don't preach the gospel to people, then WE ARE RESPONSIBLE IF THEY PERISH ETERNALLY.

God will be justified in the end and He said if we don't do our duty and tell people about JEsus Christ and they perish eternally, their blood will be on our hands.

If we tell them and they refuse to follow Jesus, then we are not responsible if they perish eternally.

So we must all do our part and preach the gospel to EVERY CREATURE, baptising those who believe, in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and teaching them to observe all things whatsoever He has commanded and Jesus said He will be with us even to the end of the age. (Matthew 28: 19 & 20)

No.

Whether or not you know about God, no one suffers in hell. The doctrine that hell is a place of torment is not based on the Bible. Rather, it is a pagan belief masquerading as a Christian teaching.

No.

And it is true that those who never heard the gospel message will not be saved. (The real question though is why did they never hear it?) Consider the following passages.

“He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned” (Mk 16:16).

“For the invisible things of him [God] since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse” (Rom 1:20).

“But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Heb 11:6).

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you” (Jas 4:8).

“That servant, who knew his lord’s will, and didn’t prepare, nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes, but he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes” (Lk 12:47-48).

Based on the above, it is clear that one must believe in Jesus and be baptized to be saved. And also that there is enough evidence in this world for the existence of God, and thus no one has an excuse for not believing in him and diligently seeking him. If one does draw near to God, diligently seeking him, God will reward their efforts and draw closer to them. In this way, many people from remote areas have eventually come to know God and his son Jesus Christ so that they can believe in him and be saved (Ac 8:26-39). For those who never heard the gospel message, and thus never obeyed it (2Th 1:8; 1Pet 4:17), they will still be punished, but not as severely as the atheists in this forum who are aware of it and have rejected it.

When you consider that at one time, the whole world except for eight people did not earnestly seek out God, would it be that surprising if not one person on a whole continent earnestly sought him? Maybe that explains the Native Americans, or maybe it explains why the Vikings came to America in AD 1000. Possibly there was an Indian who earnestly sought God and thus had the gospel preached to him. Of course, I’m only speculating, but you have to understand that the vast majority of history was never recorded.

The truth is that there is enough evidence for God’s existence, where even a person in the remotest part of the world should seek him out. God has promised that he will somehow get his message to that person. It appears that the Ethiopian is a good example of that very thing happening (Ac 8:26-31). And then he would have brought the Good News to those in Africa who were also seeking God.

If it was really true as some assert that those who never heard the gospel of Jesus were destined for heaven, being in a state of blissful ignorance, why would anyone in their right mind even think of complying with Mk 16:15? You would be taking the message to people who are already saved because of their ignorance, and most likely make them unsaved, since most people reject the message as Jesus foretold (Mt 7:13-14).

If anything was ever a blessing that would be it.

It’s justified
