Often water bills comes 2 months after use. You are only in your second month so it will be shortly. First bill can be higher than usual.

Sometimes that sort of charges is not charged monthly, but is charged quarterly. You may be getting the bill after 3 months of occupation.

I would ask but water bills often come quarterly so maybe that's why.

Ask, because you definitely still owe it.

Remind them, or you will end up with a huge bill when they catch the error.

the same thing happened to me...but as where I had only been there for 2 months..other people had no water bill for 6 months...and when the office finally caught on to this..they charged everyone for the last 6 months....luckily i only had 2 months to pay back...for everyone else it was a steep bill

You can ask but they may only get the bill quarterly. If so and if money is tight, set aside money every month so that when you are hit with the bill, you have money set aside to cover it.

Yes, ask the landlord about the water bill. Be proactive so that you know what to expect.

Where I live the water bill comes every two months, thus its possible you haven't been through an entire billing cycle.

YES ask. Do not just ignore it & let the debt grow.

You should definitely ask.

If your landlord thinks you are paying the bill, and you aren't receiving bills, then nobody is paying and pretty soon you'll be buying bottled water and showering at friend's houses. (meaning your water will get shut off).

You know you are responsible for the bill, so you have an inherent responsibility to make sure its being paid and you could be held accountable if it doesn't get paid. Those legal consequences could include being evicted and sued by the landlord and having the water shut off and being sued by the water company.

My water bill is bi-monthly (every other month) so its possible that you haven't' actually finished the first billing cycle yet. But you should still call your landlord and/or the water company to make sure everything is in order.

You should ask. You might be supposed to pay it yourself, separately, and there might be a late fee if you wait too long.

Depends on the biliing cycle...anything turned off yet?
