a solution of Ca(NO3)2, 0.25M, is mixed with 25.00mL of a Na2Co3 of unknown molarity. It requires 25.00 mL of Ca(NO3)2 to reach the equivalence point when the conductance is measured vs. volume.

Write the net ionic equation for the reaction. what is the concentration of the unknown Na2CO3 solution?

The net ionic equation for the reaction in titration:
Ca²⁺(aq) + CO₃²⁻(aq) → CaCO₃(s)
Mole ratio Ca²⁺(aq) : CO₃²⁻ = 1 : 1

Moles of Ca²⁺ reacted = Moles of Ca(NO₃)₂ reacted = (0.25 mol/L) × (25.00/1000 L) = 0.00625 mol
Moles of Na₂CO₃ reacted = Moles of CO₃²⁻ reacted = (0.00625 mol) × (1/1) = 0.00625 mol
Concentration of Na₂CO₃ = (0.00625 mol) / (25.00/1000 L) = 0.25 M
