Dutch is a language, not a country.

"Dutch is a monocentric language, with all speakers using the same standard form (authorized by the Dutch Language Union) based on a Dutch orthography employing the Latin alphabet when writing." [Wiki]

Dutch is also the culture or people who speak the Dutch language, mainly in the Netherlands.

Dutch is a word that comes from Deutsch.

Dutch is an English language adjective referring to the people and the language of Nederland, which we call Holland. Holland isn't even close either. They call their language: Nederlands. They call a male person of their country: Nederlander. They call a woman of their country: Nederlandse.

In USA, Pennsylvania Dutch refers to Amish, who really ARE Deutsch.
