You failed to list any miracles.
Those are all 100% natural occurrences.
Thank doctors and car safety equipment.
There are no miracles on your list. Or in reality.
Everything has a rational explanation. Because we may not yet have found that rational explanation does not give license to leap to an irrational one.
How about other "miracles",like falling to your death tripping over a curb. Or catching a life-threatening disease at the Doc's office? Is that magic too?
1. They were not actually dead, and the doctor was wrong
2. Increased immune system response do to treatment
3. Good safety features of the car.
Whew, I'm beat. Anything else?
1. We don't fully understand the human brain yet. If there's even a spark left, there's hope.
2. Why did God give that person cancer in the first place, if he's so good? and what, pray tell, are the medical experts doing, if they have nothing to do with that person being healed?
3. Why was there a horrible accident in the first place?
Seems the MEP (miracle exclusion principle) still holds. Is it a miracle when,
a). Person is dead..., sad, inevitable.
b). Person has cancer,... sad, could die or live, medical bills, stress.
c). Person is in a car accident..., sad, could die or kill someone, need new car.
No. Not miraculous at all .
Well first you have to discard the people who are lying, then the ones who self diagnosed or don't understand bodily functions and healing, then calculate how many people didn't get better, or did die in an accident;
what you're left with is no miracles, only coincidences and fortunate outcomes.
How are any of those miracles? They happen literally every day thanks to modern medicine and engineering.
Luck, you can now move along.thanks.
hundreds of medieval coffins have been found with fingernail scratches on the inside lid , they were all presumably pronounced dead but were not
NATURAL!
Can you explain when a plane crashes and one person survives Christians claim it is a miracle when your god slew 249 people to make it?
People who are dead do not come back to life! They merely have heart failure that is restarted. The reality is if the heart cannot be restarted within a matter of minutes they die!
FACT -22% of breast cancer goes away naturally.
FACT - you believe in a fantasy that actually kills people because you rely on miracles instead of HUMAN doctors!
It seems its time to apply Matthew 7:6 to these unbelievers and move on...
so far I see them deflecting. And to clear up some things, If a person is considered dead, that means no heart beat no brain activity and then they come back, how is that a natural occurrence? how is that not a miracle?
GOD does not give people cancer! cancer can come from a number of things down to using a cell phone! but since there is no cure, and a person is healed meaning no more traces of it, how is that a natural occurrence? how is that not a miracle?
You can watch a horrible car accident 100 times and you will probably see 90 deaths and 10 people who will be paralyzed but some one whos car is completely destroyed and they come out with out a scratch is not a natural occurrence. its a miracle
It's called a Near Death Experience. Medical doctors have had NDEs. Medical doctors and scientists have been unable to explain NDEs. Remission from cancer they often
CAN explain. Ruth Bader Ginsberg is a 3 time cancer survivor.
Science, physics and/or engineering explain all 3 of your said 'miracles'..
I have 'personally' been a leading role in 2 of the 3 events you describe in your question.
The other involved my sister.
1. I was knocked out in a car accident where the car rolled (at highway speed!) and ended up upside down in a flowing river in about 15ft of water (at night, also!!). I 'came to'/became conscious again and, gasping for breath, managed to get myself out of the wrecked car, escaping with only a minor cut on my hand from getting out of the car through a smashed window..
2. 'God' did not cure my sister of cancer, whom we lost only 3 years ago..
3. See answer number 1..!!
I was quite prepared to 'become all religious again/go to church again etc' (was born and raised catholic but been atheist for years) after not dying in the car accident. But it didn't happen..
The doctors and medical staff did all they could to try and cure my sisters' cancer. Neither them, OR any 'god' was able to prolong her life any longer..
Me surviving that car accident was 'pure luck' and the fact that i was wearing my seatbelt, and that the car i was in was a well built vehicle. The freezing cold water was also enough to wake me up again, and the car's engineering and safety features had saved my life. There was no assistance, or involvement, of any 'god'..
Sidenote...The conception of a baby, and child birth itself, are often described as 'miracles'. Yes, they are fantastic events, but they have both been happening for 10's of thousands of years, and are NOT miracles or the intervention of any 'god'..
Yes, but you seem to need them to validate a belief so I won't take them from you.
Cite a specific case, and we can talk. Vague claims about fairy tale stories are easy to explain. they're fictional.
