Should I use Flex Seal close to my exhaust?

I want to cover some rust holes on the underpanel of my car with flex seal. Crude yes but I’m wondering since my exhaust runs next to the rust holes will the flex seal burn or melt? Anyone have any experience in hog surfaces with flex seal type stuff?

I don’t think you can use it on hog surfaces but it should be listed on the packaging if it can be used near hot surfaces.

Put it on a piece of metal and heat it with a torch.

if its not physically touching it then it will be alright most likely ..
