Brake pedal goes to the floor before starting?

My brake light came on in my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I noticed the brake fluid was at MIN, so I filled it to full. A few days after I noticed the brake fluid hasn’t gone down, but when I pressed on the brake the first time before starting, it went straight to the floor, after pumping a few times the pedal became rock solid, but after starting the car and driving the pedal became loose, took about half way to the floor before the car would even start slowing down. Took it to a shop, said the right front caliper was leaking, replaced it and bled the brakes. Took the car back and immediately noticed the same problem still occurs with the pedal going to the floor then becoming rock solid with pumping, then after driving it becoming loose. Possibility they bled the brakes wrong and should bring it back?

Obvious they may have found one problem but their is still more existing. I would take it back for further diagnosis.

I suspect a master cylinder failure! Which is letting fluid leak by both ways. This often results in a bad brake booster too. If the problem was a wheel cylinder or another caliper there should be a noticeable drop in fluid levels. When a master cylinder fails often there is not change in fluid levels, just a loss of brake pedal. When the master cylinder leaks into the brake booster it causes the materials to deteriorate. Because the additional labor to get the brake booster replaced at the same time is less then doing the same job twice- I would recommend replacing the both even if the booster is alright at this time.

If you have drum brakes in the rear you either need the brake shoes adjusted or replaced.

You definitely need to take it back to them and tell them the problem isn't fixed.
