Is he seeing me more than a friend?

So my coworker has been acting weird with me when he sees me he tends to get really close to me to the point that we are touching arms... and sometimes I'm helping a customer that I don't realize that he is standing in back of me. Sometimes he gives me random long hugs and even offers to bring me food. Why? He had first told me when I started the job that we were friends, but I feel like he wants something else because he asked me if I wanted to hang out sometime with him also.
