He definitely did, went on for 4 years. I expect he lied to his wife but she supposedly ended the affair so he didn't get away with it. She forgave him, so it wasn't much of a revelation when Currie tried to cash in on it. For many people she came off as a slapper and he came out of it with not much worse than a reputation for poor taste in women.
