How can you relate violence against women to Globalization?

How come no one talks about violence against men?

I don't.

Cultures that have been in existence for some time can treat women or children different than others. This situation can be perceived as violence, solution "mind your own business".

I would think globalization would reduce the occurrence of violence against women.
