This is a very common question that is asked a lot.

I don't have a specific breed I like over another, it is the temperament of the individual dog that I look for. I would much rather have a dog that has a strong temperament. It is much easier to tame the aggressive dog than it is to build courage & confidence in a submissive dog.

No small dogs for me. I have taken in large & extra large dogs for about 50 or so yrs & little dogs just don't fit in here & I do not like lap dogs.

All. I have a lab/border collie mix, red nose pit, and lab/pit mix. They are all rescues. Before them had two smooth fox terriers. Dogs are awesome. It’s some owners that suck.
