I don't know what she's telling you, but I can tell you this: The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death..

This is simply appalling.

That sounds obnoxious. And it also sounds like she's got quite a few issues. But regardless, though..? She's not being a very good friend. Probably you should try to talk to her about it. And also look for some better friends. Not saying you'll have to just straight-up ditch her either, though, necessarily.. But what usually tends to happen? Is, when two people no longer really enjoy each others' company, or they've obviously grown apart? They'll just naturally spend less and less time together.

Christians are arrogant and try to force their cr%p onto everyone. If you tell them you are not interested they then claim you are persecuting them

Arrogant Christian behaviour.

She is allowed to convert you as she is "helping you". Dare do the same to her and you will probably be persecuting her.

Its an ego thing. Christians feel superior and "better than" non-Christians because it makes them feel special. I would say please don't mention religion to me anymore or I think we're going to have to spend less time together. If she asks why, say I already have a belief system therefore its disrespectful for you to push yours on me and visa versa, it would be rude of me to do it to you. We either agree to disagree, don't mention religion and remain friends or we separate peacefully.

Just tell her that your Jesus is better and stronger than her Jesus.

Sounds like she is not really a friend.

No one should be that fanatic about anyone. By her actions, I can tell, she is pushing you away rather than drawing you to Jesus. Jesus drew people, even children, to himself by his speech and manner. He never tried to force anyone to be his follower but spoke consolingly to all who were troubled. He gently cured the sick and raised the dead. The important thing is that we learn what the Bible really teaches. This girl is certainly not a preacher of the Bible, whereas Jehovah's Witnesses, whether young or old, are preachers of "the good news" that Jesus himself preached and are contained in the Scriptures. (Matthew 24:14) We are "in unity" with Jesus as we preach in 240 countries from North Pole to Antarctica. Jesus taught his disciples to preach from door to door and that is what Jehovah's Witnesses are known to do. (Luke 10:1-3) Mark 6:7-11: He (Jesus) now summoned the Twelve and started sending them out by two by two, and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits. Also, he gave them orders to carry nothing for the trip except a staff--no bread, no food pouch, no money in their belts --but to put on sandals and not to wear two garments. Further, he said to them: "Wherever you enter into a home, stay there until you leave that place. And wherever a place will not receive you or listen to you, on going out from there, shake off the dirt that is on your feet for a witness to them." I hope you will read the Scriptures sited. I now invite you to look into the international website, jw.org and Bible Teachings > Bible Questions Answered. Watch videos that cultivate our faith such as Does God have a Name? What is God's Kingdom? Why did God Create the Earth? Why doe God Allow Suffering? What is the Condition of the Dead? and Why Study the Bible? If you believe what you learned, you can request your free personal Bible study online or from the next witness who knocks on your door or by visiting your neighborhood Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. There is never a collection taken or plate passed and all are welcome. Thank you for this question.

Christians are taught that proselytizing is important because everyone needs to be Christian.

In reality, it's wrong, and just rude and insensitive behavior.

SHE IS NOT A CHRISTIAN SHE IS JUST TRYING TO GET A REACTION OUT OF YOU

I can't speak to her behavior, as a Christian should be "all things to all men", meaning that we should approach you as someone who is like you, not as someone better than you. We actually recognize we are sinners as Christians and that we are not worthy or better than others, so I don't get that behavior. Honestly, many people say many things about God and Christianity, and you'll only ever be guessing to know what Christians actually believe if you have never had a firsthand account right from God in the bible. Instead of listening to everyone else, pick up the bible and seek God with all your heart, strength, and mind; as in doing so, God himself has promised that you will find him. In finding him, you can measure who he says he is with what he does, and then if you wish to, choose to put your trust and faith in the sacrifice Christ made for you. Ultimately that is your own decision, but ignoring God will have consequences too. I think that is what your friend is trying to explain to you.

Why not ask her? Remind her, too, it is unchristian to belittle other cultures.
2019-01-25 12:13 am
If she's mentioning Jesus, but it's not in a negative light, she's obviously not a Christian.
2019-01-25 12:09 am
She is trying to save you from burning in hell
