We're expecting a baby very soon But it's very hard for us to choose a name for our baby. Is it okay to let our friends to name our baby?

If a couple absolutely cannot agree on a name, they could let someone else name the baby. Another idea would be to put the names they do like into a hat and draw one out and go with that.

It's not ideal but I've known people who have done it or even let a nurse name the baby.
Can't you read some lists of names, both of you make a " love" list, and an " absolutely not" list.

There's no way I'd do that. What if you hate the name they choose? If you really can't decide, just think of a name you both like and go with that, or pick from a hat.

As others said I would make a list and let them pick off the list that way you both kind of picked it out.

It would be sad for your child to find out years later that you didn't even name him/her. I would get a poll or list going of names your friends and family like and you can pick from the names suggested.

I know there are people who have let their family name them.I have heard of children being named after friends but not by thembut if that is what you want and you feel is right then go for it :)

You could, I guess. I have one friend cho gave her mom a list of names she liked and let the mom pick from the list.
