I’m a girl and I didn’t know I was in my period so I lightly stuck my finger to see what was happening to me. I told 2 friends of mine and the called me disgusting for touching down there I explained that I washed me hands but they still insulted me I just wanted to know if it rlly is disgusting and if it is why?

Your friends are immature. It's completely normal for you to touch your own vagina. Perhaps you shouldn't talk to them about private matters like this anymore.

It is totally normal to touch yourself, for both inspection or for pleasure. It sounds like you and your friends are young. They reacted that way because they are young, and its new and unfamiliar to them. You could probably talk to the school nurse about this.
