Why did my girlfriend asked me why did I take her back?

Last night we where spending time together and she just randomly asked me “ Why did I take her back after she cheated on me and said certain things”. That happened 2 years ago. the fact that she asked me that has me thinking that she was saying that I’m stupid for doing so. What does that mean please help

Leaping to conclusions is, quite commonly, leaping to the WRONG conclusion. She likely asked that question because she wanted to hear the answer. Not because she was thinking you were stupid!
