I build a homemade bomb calorimeter and when I presented it to my class and my teacher, my teacher told me that I need to change my purpose bc my initial purpose isn't going to help the society...
Initial purpose: To determine if the mass of different types of chemical structures in food affect the number of calories it contains.
Can someone help me change my purpose for my science fair topic? It needs to be better to help the society somehow... PLS?

Perhaps your purpose could be to help overweight people avoid calorie-dense foods... by determining the mass of the chemical structures...
