Car insurance adjuster is taking forever?
I was at a 4 way stop sign at night. Long story short when it was my turn to go a suv smashed into the back side of my car. The bumper and quarter panel are dented. Other guy car was a rental car. So I've only been talking to his personal car insurance company and they're going to handle the situation. Accident happened 34 days ago and I reported it 29 days ago. I've been trying to call the at fault insurance adjuster almost daily to get this moving forward. I feel like they don't even care. Sometimes I'll leave voicemail and their insurance adjuster won't call back.. It feel like they are trying to delay this.. So far they admit they are at fault. I went to an autobody shop and got an estimate already and I'm sure the car will be total loss. I already sent the pics of my car to their App. Tried calling the adjuster but couldn't get in contact. No one is that busy.. If the other car insurance company already admit they're at fault do I still need to worry? this is testing my patience and I feel like threatening them with a lawyer...

Wait! Why in the hell are you even involved at this point? WHAT? sure you were involved in an accident but WHY DID YOU NOT CALL YOUR AGENT AND TURN IT OVER TO THEM? If you say that you did not want your agent involved then you are a fool. If the agent would not help you then you have the wrong insurance.
Call your insurance company and let them handle it.
You let this drag out way too long.
Also you need a rental car.
And if you decide not to go to your insurance company then hire an attorney immediately as something is not right here. DO NOT tell them you are hiring an attorney, just hire the attorney and follow their advice.
Best of luck
the problem if YOU are expecting wanting them to say it was their fault,,,, so your deductible is covered. too often people lie to themselves saying they admitted fault... then wait. if the police report you got (YOU DID GET ONE?) will either state blame or not stated blame,, if they did not state the other driver was at 100% at fault... it will be a 50/50 fault do you pay your deductible
Make a claim with your insurance ... this is one of the cost and things you deal with if you choose to drive
If you have the accident report call your states insurance controllers office and file a complaint with them, or go to your state police for help. The adjuster could drag this out long enough that they can claim this is not from that accident. Or get an attorney to go after them. GOOD LUCK!
Call the insurance company
Do you have "Collision" coverage? If you do, then let YOUR auto insurance total your car. Waiting for the other insurance company is useless. If you do not have "collision coverage" then you are at the mercy of the other drivers insurance company to total your car. I hope you have collision coverage. Let your auto insurance company total your car.
參考: Insurance agent
Call and ask for the branch claim manager. If you are in the US, liability insurance follows the vehicle. The liability insurer for the rental car company should be handling the claim.
Call the adjuster for the at fault insurance company and tell him you are going to report him to the insurance commissioner with an allegation of Bad Faith.
Nothing makes insurance companies snap to attention more than the threat of a Bad Faith Claim against them.
Any penalties assessed to them will be 100 times whatever the cost of the actual claim they were dragging their feet on.
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL OF YOU STUFF DONE.
Did you report the accident to the DMV . . .? Either you or your representative (can be your insurance carrier) must report to DMV within 10 days with proof that you were insured at the time of the accident (whether it was your fault or not), or, your license will supposedly be suspended for a year. (According to California DMV Handbook.)
