I am a 21 year old women . I grew up in Georgia for 11 years so since I was 9 years old. I have lived in New York from born to 9. Moving to Georgia was rough since I lived with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and my dad . Living in Georgia with my mom siblings and stepdad . So my point is that now I’m 21 and don’t have a actual job. I babysat for a year and was paid $30 a day. I have applied for jobs ever since I graduated high school but nothing popped up and this is while I lived in Georgia. I still reside in Georgia but I’ve come to New York and have been here for a month now. I am here with my grandma. I have been applying for jobs while I am here but nothing really seems to come out. I’m not really sure what to do . I have my drivers license from Georgia and am willing to stay to work in New York if anything pops up. My mom doesn’t seem to be ok with my decision and my dad he lives in New York so I don’t know what he thinks honestly he seems to be ok with it. What should I do?

If you feel "lost and stuck," you need to see a therapist. They're not going to find a job for you, but they can help you set realistic goals to improve your life. Good luck.

Start meditating .. Vipassana/mindfulness meditation.
Make friends with yourself.
Once you open yourself up to your total inner reality, life becomes vibrant and you are never lonely.
Right now, you are focusing everything on outer stuff, and happiness, as a state of mind, comes only FROM within our mind.
