I'm trying to conserve money by cooking (scratch) in the microwave instead of buying pre-made frozen entrees and, while I love ravioli with low-sodium sauce, I can't direction for cooking frozen beef ravioli in the microwave.

How did I know all of you would think of doing with WITHOUT the water? I may not be a genius, but at least I know you need to cook it in water. Put a large-enough microwave-safe bowl in the microwave, boil the water, then add the ravioli. But, has anyone ever done it? How long should I leave it for, and should I have the microwave on half-power after I put in the ravioli? If none of you have tried, then just tell me so. I will experiment, and let you know what happens.

Don't. Pasta needs boiling and that's no quicker in a microwave than on the stove. Fresh pasta, once defrosted, normally takes 2 minutes.

Just do it on the stovetop. You need to boil the pasta.

Pasta (frozen or not) should be cooked in water on the stove top.The microwave will not save you anything.which is why you're not finding any directions to cook it that way.

19 answers and all of them gibberish. If you don't have an answer for me, don't post an answer.
