No it is not True there are no Plans on Yahoo Answers Closing down at this time

There has been no such announcement or any indication of that happening. I notice you didn't provide the source for your "is it true". Where did you hear that it was happening? Other users claiming that, without providing a source, is just meaningless gossip.

No, It is NOT true. EVERY YEAR people start this rumor and Every year for 14 years it is NOT true. Verizon has said nothing about shutting down YA.

I've just done a Google search on this. The only thing that turned up was Yahoo Messenger was going to be shut down. That happened on July 17.
