Should I take this Parking ticket to court?

I parked on the street at the end of the block near the corner. There were only two signs for the whole block both facing horizontal to the street enterance so when looking down the street the signs are backwards and aren’t visible. Both signs were in the front half of the long block and the only visible sign near my spot was a handicap sign. I’d figure they would attach a 2 hour sign on the same pole as the handicapped sign to let our end know. It was from 7am-6pm. I parked 5:30pm to 11am. I voided the 7am part. But I had no knowledge that it was 2hours only. It’s a long block plus big trees plus no street lights on my half.

The curbs weren’t marked anywhere and it was night and the final half of the block didn’t even have street lights. A car didn’t see me on the crosswalk luckily he was slow.

What you see looking down the street is irrelevant. It is what you see when you were driving down the street in your car.

There is no requirement on the amount of signs, and most jurisdictions agree too many signs are unsightly and expensive.

You are certainly welcome to contest it, but the court will make a decision based on what is reasonable. If the signs are not reasonable, take pictures as you would view the signs from your car.

You CONFESSED to violating the rules you CLAIM you knew. going to court won't get you out of anything.
