I am considering Smith and Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Compact 9mm 4-inch 15rd . It is striker fired. Does anyone have an opinion on this model?

I'm interested in this model: Smith and Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Compact 9mm 4-inch 15rd. On GrabAGun, they have it for $369. Is this a good gun for the price? And maybe someone knows a better price?
Thanks to all for answering!

The entire M&P line is good quality, especially for the price. I have the M&P Shield 9mm and like everything about it, and I've enjoyed firing the full size that a friend has (in .40 S&W).

I recommend looking around local shops first, you might find a better deal. Keep in mind that buying online means you'll be paying an FFL fee, which is anywhere from $25-$50 depending where you have it sent. So you might find it for slightly more in a shop, but end up paying less when all is said and done.

Guns are not dangerous and will neve be banned.

The M&P series pistols are good guns for the price. There are many variants to suit your needs. Before you buy, I'd recommend visiting a gun shop and at least look at different models and if possible shoot a couple different models as well.

I bought my girlfriend the FULL size. I love that girl ya know ..... So yes, I have absolute trust in that M&P. That girl would walk through fire for me ... I would want her to have the best. See ?
* Oh, she also shoots it as well as any man. So accuracy is also just as good as I want for her. The gun loaded two extra Magazines = 43 rounds. (Or something) She can raise HELL if needed.

They claim it to be striker-fired

100% percent recommend.
I have never had any problems with any S&W firearms, and the price is pretty reasonable.

S&W M&P is a fine gun. Just keep it clean and lubricated and enjoy it.

Smith & Wesson are one of the older gun makers, they do not make trash. I have a Smith 357 revolver myself since I was 18 and I am now 70. Never had a problem with it either. And I would not expect their smi-auto's to be any less.

I own the original full size M&P, but shot the 2.0 and my personal opinion is that I much prefer the original. In terms of reliability, they are both very good, but the 2.0 did away with the beavertail extension which made it hard for me to get a high grip handhold without getting a slide-bite. But that's just me and my 2 cents.

If you can get it for $369, that's a very good price IF it is a new gun, but not for a used one.
