next console xbox or playstation? Which should i get the next playstation or the next xbox?

It is honestly based on preferences and whether your friends are on one console over the other. Overall, the next consoles that Microsoft and Sony release will both be revolutionary with technology that is suppose to match PC gameplay (although that's what they been saying for years.) Microsoft has moved into buying more gaming companies in order to buff up their Xbox exclusives and PlayStation has been showing off their already-tough arsenal of PlayStation exclusives. You should keep an eye on all Sony and Microsoft news to see which one you would prefer. But in the end, it's all about preference. I've been with Xbox for 14 years so I won't be jumping ship.

I would recommend Xbox. They have Xbox Live. Unlike the Playstation, the Xbox has a sensor. On the other hand, Playstation has Virtual Reality, unlike the Xbox. Though, Playstation VR is very expensive.

Why don't you wait until you see what games will be coming out and what the price point will be?

I've bought a PS3 and PS4 as close to launch as I could (PS3 within a year and PS4 within 3 months).

This next generation is one where I'll be waiting a bit. I've literally only played one game on PS4 this year and nothing I've seen so far for next year interests me.

why settle? get both.

Playstation because they have better games.
