Ladies and gentlemen it is my pleasure to preside at this speech with the topic of "My most loving living place of Taiwan". First of all,I'm not a Taiwanese and just a tourist. Secondly, Having learned from the textbook that it is a big island which had been the colony of Portugal and with its name of Formosa. As far as its abundant natural resources being concerned, it is an island can exist and survive by itself. There are a lot of places for sight seeing such as Taipei the capital, Keelung the seaport, Taoyuan the international airport,Taichung the Alishan, Kaohsiung the seaport and shipping companies, Taitung the eastern south end of Taiwan, etc. All these places are famous for either their administration authorities or sight seeing. In regards to agriculture, it is suitable for growing tropical fruits or crops, such as pummelo, orange, carambola, pineapple, guava,papaya; paddy, sweet potato,etc.. In addition to these, tea is also well known in the world such as Oulung, Te-i kuan- Yin, etc.. As regarding precious stone, there are about three hundred kinds of coral which are assimilated to Jade especially their colour and glaze. Finally, I ,myself,is very fond of Taiwan with its democratic system of government and do wish it will be existed forever and ever . Thank you for listening. Yip
