Forced to drop out of Uni and leave all my friends behind?
I am in crippling debt due to my off-campus accomodation being a lot more than i can afford (there is a lot more to this story,), which is causing my depression to worsen. in the same time-frame, i have lost my phone and i have lost my part-time job that i was depending on to cover my rent.
I don t know what to do. my mother is saying i need to move back home to London as soon as possible, get a full-time job and start at again at a uni close to my london home next september, but my friends are saying i should stay at my current uni and i can possibly stay in their spare room, but i would hate to be a burden?

Listen to your mother.
Do not "drop out" however. Be certain that you formally withdraw from your classes.
Go back to London, get a job, make a plan, get back on your head, and get your head screwed on straight.
When you can think clearly, when you have better control over your finances, and when you have a plan -- INCLUDING HOUSING YOU CAN AFFORD -- then go back to school.
Good luck.
it is terrible to burden you with the adult task of earning your own way in life. why not put the burden of paying for your education on someone else, who apparently has more money then yourself?
have you ever thought of getting a job and earning your own education, all by yourself and on your own initiative?
you may say that is inhumane, and some say racist, but if "prayer" works, then you do not need "charity".

Listen to your mum and keep in contact with your old friends by your new phone. Ask your mum to help you out financially temporarily if possible.
Learn to budget your living.
Or you can speak to your college counselor and work out a plan.
It would be better to get back on your feet at home than to sponge off friends. Your mother will put up with you for months but your friends will not.
