Yes the devil is real. At the beginning of human history, Adam and Eve sided with Satan the devil. They rejected God’s rule and chose self-rule, which was really rule by the Devil. - (Genesis 3:1-6; Revelation 12:9). Ever since his first contact with humans, Satan has been a murderer and a deceiver. Jesus Christ said of him: “That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.” (John 8:44); For now, Satan has the world in his evil grip. But not for much longer. Soon Jehovah will use his Son, Jesus Christ to “break up the works of the Devil.” (1 John 3:8) Under God’s direction, Jesus will mend broken hearts and restore shattered lives. He will resurrect back to life on earth billions of humans who have suffered and died over the centuries. -(John 11:25). The resurrection of Jesus is an example of God’s victory over the works of the Devil - a token of what is to come for humans who choose God’s rule. (Acts 17:31) The Bible directs our thoughts to that time to come with these comforting words: “God himself will be with mankind. There are different type of spirits all over the world. Devil is a bad spirit. I guess it has something to do with the will of the human beings. All creatures including human beings are always surrounded by the spirits. Without spirits all human beings are nothing. Spirits possess people according to the will and wish of the human beings. They quit when they are not cared. Spirits are separate elements. A human being is not a single spirit. A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. Brain is just a media to connect the spirits to your mind. A mind is just a computer's mind. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not get it's mind. The same is the case with the human beings. Soul is nothing but an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.
