You can't. It's fiction.

1) God made sure that the Bible was accurately copied and preserved.
2) Jesus said: "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." -John 8:32.
3) Jesus said to his Father: "Your Word is Truth !" - John 17:17.

We can be sure the Bible is true because it tells the future perfectly.

Jesus is God! Jesus loves you! Death leads to immediate heaven or hell, and it is too late to be saved, after death. The only way to heaven is by believing in Jesus. The truth is that believing in Jesus to take you to heaven apart from any of your works, is the only way to heaven. Jesus paid it all, so believe in Jesus, and you're saved. There is no chance to be saved after death. Jesus Christ is God, Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins, all sins past and future, to make all our sins forgiven, past and future, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works or deeds or religions or anything. You cannot add any works to salvation (Romans 4:5). So to be in heaven and not in eternal torment in the lake of fire, believe in Jesus Christ to take you to heaven. That easy! Tell Jesus right now that you believe in Jesus for eternal life, and you will be in heaven! Jesus loves you and wants to bless you now and throughout your life and forever!...

We can't and it isn't

The reason >>>>

Heb 6:18 God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.
Heb 6:19 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner sanctuary.

You can't. It's a fairy story for the gullible.

In terms of whether the Bible is the Word of God or not, that's not something you can prove. That is something that comes from both faith in the scriptures as God's revelation, and faith in the Church that Christ founded which put the scriptures together.

If you agree with the concept of faith, and have the gift of faith it isn't a problem. If you don't, then obviously it's gonna be a problem which is where things stand or fall.

I've had to ask myself that from the beginning of my journey into it, when I was 24 years old. It doesn't stop, until you reach certain milestones on your journey. It's supposed to be like that. The life of faith is organic, it starts small and grows, if God helps you learn.

You don't have to fake it.

You can't prove objective historical truth for most of the Bible. if you believe it's true, then it's true for you. Just don't expect that to be binding on the rest of us.

The Bible was written over about 1500 years by hundreds of authors. It has been edited, re-arranged, censored, redacted, embroidered, etc. over and over, and the oldest sources we have for the Old Testament are translations of translations of translations. Consequently the Bible is full of ambiguities, inconsistencies, and outright contradictions. That doesn't mean it's nothing more than a pack o' lies, but if you insist that every single word is true you're going to have to answer a lot of embarrassing questions about where it totally contradicts itself. I really think a lot of the OT was never meant to be taken literally.

Do the unbiased research and you will see it for what it is, ancient superstition.

Islamic terrorists have been trying to destroy Israel since 1948. Despite outnumbering the Jews six to one, Muslims get their butts whipped every time. Why? Because God has a future for Israel. "Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion" (Psalm 2:6, KJV). Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

The bible is an outdated book. Its time to step out of the medieval age and step into the modern age of enlightenment.

You can sure the bible is true by reading it yourself. You will find the very knowledge of Almighty God and all the answer to the problems facing us. in this world. Please read Matthew 6:33.

To test the Bible one has to apply it to them!
So take a random extract, pray for a while, reflect upon your own life then apply it to yourself and then decide!

Because The Bible was inspired by god

2 Timothy 3:16 says that the Bible is inspired by god. So, if something is inspired then it means that they influenced someone and in this case, by means of Holy Spirit , Jehovah god used the apostles to write the books of the Bible. For more information please visit jw.org.

Research, and study. Loads of people have done this, and any problem areas are pretty well known. All you have to do is study.

Very simple - for every claim it makes find corroborating evidence to support that claim. Something OTHER than the Bible.

Trust and application.
How can we be sure about a cookbook or a map? Will they deliver what they promise?
Here's how to find out-

Consider the source objectively.
Decide to believe and then trust enough to act.
Follow the directions correctly and see what happens.

Evidence is offered. Results are gained.
That means- take the evidence or leave it but if you want to find out the truth, you must go thru the process.

A cookbook doesn't come with the food already made. You have to follow the directions if you want to taste the dish.

A map doesn't transport you to your destination. You have to trust the information and proceed the way it recommends.

The promises of the bible work the same way:)
God says 'If you do this- this is what will happen.'
So how can we find out if it's true?
Trust and application- otherwise known as Faith.

The bible is what is called "Faction” A fictional story set in a factual time and place. Thus the time, place and real historical characters are all correct but the fictional characters and stories are not!

There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!

There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?

Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!

Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!

At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed!

Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!! How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead?

Christianity is an invention of the Italians and that is why it came from the Holy ROMAN Catholic church!

Please realize that those claims for the Old historians are worthless since they were not even born until long after everyone in the stories would have been so long dead!

Josephus AD 37 – AD 100
Tacitus AD 56 – AD 120
Suetonius - 69 – 130 AD
Pliny the Younger, 61 AD – 112 AD
Justin Martyr (Saint Justin) AD103–165 AD
Lucian - AD 120 -180 AD but he was hostile to Christianity and openly mocked it.
Pamphilius AD 240-309 AD
Eusebius AD 263 – 339 AD
Photius AD 877 – 886 AD

Thallus - But there are no actual record of him except a fragment of writing which mentions the sack of Troy [109 BC] Showing that he was clearly not alive in biblical times.

Some even try to use Seneca. 4 BCE – 65 CE but as a Stoic Philosopher he opposed religion yet made not a single mention of a Jesus or Christianity!

Even funnier is trying to claim Celsus AD ? – 177 AD Who said that Jesus was a Jew who’se mother was a poor Jewish girl whose husband, who was a carpenter, drove her away because of her adultery with a Roman soldier named Panthera. She gave birth to an illegitimate child named Jesus. In Egypt, Jesus became learned in sorcery and upon his return presented himself as a god.

(Gen 1:1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Either you believe God created this world and every living thing in it or you don't.

A christian cannot entirely prove the bible is God's revealed truth to man and a non- believer cannot entirely prove otherwise.

By confirming one detail at a time with a fact, like you confirm any truth.

Let's start at "In the beginning". Which parts of Genesis can you believe?

Does Genesis give any indication of being a parable? No, the writing style is historical narrative, not poetic.

Is there any part of the origin of matter that goes against science? No.

Are the scientific laws and processes and methods in agreement with the Bible? Yes.

Does the evidence for Creation meet the burden of proof required by scientific method? Yes, in any forum, science, philosophy, or court of law.

Has Noah been confirmed in history as a real man, in real events, in real verifiable places, recording history in real time, literally? Yes, his grandson Kush, is named in the Sumerian King’s List.

Do the genealogies given in the Bible from Jesus all the way back to Adam confirm real people in real places in real history in real time? Yes.

So what part of Genesis or the Bible that asserts volumes of evidence and corroboration could you possibly NOT believe?

The scholars’ main attack on Bible history in the early 20th century was that no secular records existed to provide evidence of the Flood, the Exodus, or the lives of David and Solomon.

Many claimed that Moses could never have written the first five books of the Bible, since writing had not been invented at that time. But when the curious, energetic men and women dug up the past, these commonly held ideas were proved to be without foundation.

And we've only begun to confirm the Bible in the last century.

Modern archaeology has challenged the world of education to admit that the Bible is factual. Solid, documented evidence outside the Bible record confirms events and persons that were at one time considered to be suspect or plain false.

Now we have the Rosetta Stone, and the coveted tablets found at Elba? Elba dates back to before 2000 BC and was a thriving cultural center. Its records contain references to Sodom and Gomorrah.

The tablets confirm the accuracy, authenticity and authority of the Bible.

Noah's grandson Kush is specifically named as a post flood king in the Sumerian Kings list, giving additional "corroboration" by science of the accuracy, authenticity, and authority of the truth of the Bible.

In Genesis Chapter 10 is the Table of Nations. Each nation mentioned in the table can be traced down to a modern-day country, and is considered to be one of the most accurate records of the ancient world, like most of the history of the Bible.

The story of the Walls of Jericho has been verified by three different international teams over several decades. Every detail of the story from the Bible that could be verified from such a dig has been affirmed. All of the walls were down except the North wall, probably where Rahab lived.

Since you are in denial of truth and true knowledge confirmed by evidence in fact, you probably don't know the significance of the Jericho story. It is the end result of the Exodus, for which evidence has never before been found and ASSUMED to be myth, but is now fact; similarly to Moses and Noah.

Deciphering of the Behistun inscription in the 19th century was one of the most remarkable archaeological advancements and most vital to understanding ancient writings uncovered in the Fertile Crescent. The discovery opened the door for archaeology to further confirm the Bible’s historical accuracy.

Many ancient cultures in the Middle East used cuneiform, but these works were a mystery until the trilingual Behistun inscription was deciphered—the discovery made possible the translation of other cuneiform writings.

The Behistun breakthrough led to others, including the translation of 22,000 tablets at the ruins of Nineveh, Shalmaneser’s Black Obelisk, Shennacherib’s Prism, and the epic poems of Gilgamesh and Enuma Elish.

These poems contain accounts of the Flood, creation and the tower of Babel that closely parallel the Bible.

Bible critics had long sneered at references in the Bible to a people called the Hittites (Genesis 15:20; Exodus 3:8, 17; Numbers 13:29; Joshua 1:4; Judges 1:26 and elsewhere). Their opinion was that the Hittites were simply one of the many mythical peoples made up by Bible writers.

Toward the end of the 19th century, Hittite monuments were uncovered at Carchemish on the Euphrates River in Syria, proving the Bible right. Later, in 1906, excavations at Boghazkoy (ancient Hattusas, capital of the Hittite Empire) in Turkey uncovered thousands of Hittite documents, revealing a wealth of information about Hittite history and culture. The centuries-old Hittite rubbish showed they were a real and formidable power. They were once one of the dominant peoples of Asia Minor and the Near East. They exercised considerable control south into Syria and Palestine.

The Bible was right all along! Today, no one questions the existence of the Hittites. Volumes of books exist on the history, art, culture and society of the Hittites. Yet an anti-Bible prejudice still exists. Even scholarly people usually believe that if it’s in the Bible, it’s wrong.

The Bible is true and science is true, and therefore each truly read, proves the truth of the other. But the Bible is right and has always been right even before science.

In 1974, Italian archaeologists found approximately 17,000 cuneiform tablets and fragments at the site of ancient Ebla in northern Syria. The inscriptions on these artifacts date them prior to the 24th century b.c. Noachian Flood.

Similar finds were uncovered in Egypt and Mesopotamia. The tablets show that writing was common centuries before Moses. The critics can no longer claim that Moses and his contemporaries were illiterate or that the Pentateuch was written by Ezra in the 5th century b.c.

We must keep in mind the difference between scientific observations and opinions of scientists, especially in historical arenas. We are all aware of the ideas, opinions, and theories of some scientists which contradict portions of Scripture, but if we are careful to separate that which is established fact from that which is merely theory, we find that there are no contradictions between the facts of science and the Bible. Fact is there is no empirically supported scientific claim that in any way is in conflict with Christianity. The same cannot be said for evolution, abiogenesis, or Big Bang.

The Bible is not a science book, but I'm not aware of ANY instance, where the Bible DOES touch on science, that it has been proven incorrect. How can anyone DENY the evidence of the Bible and the scoreboard, when science corrects itself (proven incorrect?) almost daily?

I think we agree that science requires evidence in addition to corroboration. The parts of the Bible that can be confirmed by science certainly corroborates both. Fact is there is no empirically supported scientific claim that in any way is in conflict with Christianity. The same cannot be said for evolution, abiogenesis, or Big Bang.

Also, Nelson Glueck a Jewish scientist, and universally esteemed as one of the greatest archaeologists, said that no archaeological discovery has ever contradicted the Bible.

The Bible is not a science book, but I'm not aware of ANY instance, where the Bible DOES touch on science, that it has been proven incorrect. How can anyone DENY the evidence of the Bible and the scoreboard, when science corrects itself (proven incorrect?) almost daily?
