Are register s scanner lasers bad for your eyes?

Recently Walmart updated their registers, now the scanner laser flashes in my eyes frequently but only briefly. Is this dangerous? I wear glasses and my eyes hurt too recently, Idk if glasses can magnify these lasers.

The scanner isn't shooting laser beams at you. All you are seeing is the reflection of it. You must have noticed the article being scanned has to be very close to the scanner or it doesn't work , well that is because the beam is very short and very weak. More than a couple of inches away from the screen of the scanner and there is no more power , just a light reflection which poses no danger.

Instruments like those are tested and have to be approved for safety before they are used in public.

Barcode scanners are class 2 lasers if I remember correctly and are relatively safe because of their low power output and your eyes blink reflex.

QRcode = Mayan curse. Barcode = Druid black magic curse. Laser is substance from demons; when food is scanned it becomes dead.

Walmart has technology to influence people to take mark of the beast if they have cat bacteria in their head/stomach.

Food stores also put mark of the beast on people when they steal; forgive me.
