Why should we worship God?

Jesus said: For it is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”—Matt. 4:10.

Why?
“Because the hour of judgment by him has arrived, so worship the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and the springs of water.”

Because he deserves it and it's good for *us*.

I have never been presented with a valid reason to do that.
Nor has anyone else I know of. IF there was reason to do that, we'd all know it, and this discussion would never have happened. Theists prove there is no god, and they do it over and over.

There is no need to worship.

Because if you put your trust in man you're bound to be highly disappointed.

If you only understand all that God has done for us, and IS DOING FOR us, you would be glad to worship Him.

Worship is voluntary.

We should worship Zeus because He is our Almighty Creator.

Because it is better than worshipping evolution which is foolish.

Because he is worthy.

All God wants is for you to recognize him as your father in Spirit so
you will be able recognize your own true nature, which is Spirit. The
Bible says call no man on earth your father.

Because God is worthy of our love, praise ... and worship.

I worship God just because it keeps me out of trouble. I've got more money in my pockets I've got a house I got a car I get along with my family I'm not in the prison I'm not smoking crack anymore I'm not doing filthy immoral things with the atheist anymore. Instead I do what is responsible and obey the laws of my land and I get to live in peace without the police chasing me and without the bill collectors hounding me because I wasted my money on pure stupidity.

“You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created.”—Rev. 4:11.

According to 1 John 5:3 “This is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome.” When we stop and think of all the ways Jehovah has shown his love for us. He has given us the earth as a beautiful home and everything else we need to enjoy life. (Revelation 4:11; Matthew 5:43-48) He wants us to have a good relationship with him, and he has made it possible for us to learn about him. When we read the Bible, we are listening to Jehovah God. And when we pray, he is listening to us. (Psalm 65:2) He guides and strengthens us with his powerful Holy Spirit. (Luke 11:13) He even sent his precious Son to earth to free us from sin and death. (John 3:16; Romans 5:8)
When we dedicate ourselves to Jehovah, we promise him that we will use our life to serve him. (Ecclesiastes 5:4) We promise that we will “do all things for God’s glory.” (1Corinthians 10:31) Everything we do in life is connected to our worship of Jehovah God. We should always want to give Jehovah our best. Jehovah has given every one of us a wonderful gift. It is the gift of life. He wants us to have the best life possible.
It is important to be convinced that Jehovah God’s ways are best. Satan wants you to think that God’s standards are too difficult to,live up to and that you will be happier if you decide for yourself what is right nd what is wrong. Jehovah does not want us to be deceived by Satan. That is why he has given us laws and principles to protect us and make us happy. (Ecclesiastes 6:11) James wrote: “The one who peers into the perfect law that belongs to freedom and continues in it...will be happy in what he does.” James 1:25.
When we follow Jehovah’s direction, our lives improve and our friendship with him grows stronger. When we worship and obey and obey Jehovah, our peace will be like a river that does not run dry, and our righteousness will be like waves of the sea that constantly wash onto a beach.

For example all MNCs lead by a CEO..so Globe is the Head Office for all MNCs and we appointed God as the Honorary CEO for the Globe..

To know of Him, know who is God and worship Him because that is only reason why He created His creations. He is the Master of His creation(s), the King and Allah is worth worshiping alone. We are to be humble, not arrogant and to put our most noble area which is the forehead down on the ground for Allah and prostrate to the Most Honorable, Praiseworthy, Greatest King, Lord, God of mankind.

"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."
I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised."

Allah says, "I was a hidden treasure, I wanted to be known, so I created Creation." {Kuntu kanzan makhfiyyan fa ahbabtuhu an u`rafa fa khalaqtuhu ‘l-khalq}

When He is saying kuntu (I was)? Lam yazal wa laa yazaal, He is and will be as He always has been. No one is knowing what is Eternity or pre-Eternal, and no one knows, al-azal or al-abad, pre-Eternal and Eternal, laa awwal wa laa aakhir, no beginning and no ending (for Allah). What you are going to say? Say something to make people know something about their Lord’s Being.

He is saying kuntu for Himself, “I was; I am that One; I was a Secret Treasure.” Translating from Arabic to another language, these words become so weak, but kuntu kanzan makhfiyya is most close for giving some meaning for Allah Almighty. Three words that no other language may say, even through a big ocean. When we are saying kuntu, it is just one spot.He is saying for Himself, “I AM.” No one else can say, “I am here.” Only He is to say, “I am here. I am your Lord. If you are asking from My being, I may only say, ‘I was an Unknown Treasure.’”

But it is not the treasure you are understanding. All of the seven heavens and seven earths are treasures. If they may all be treasures, it is not only one part in which you can find a treasure. If your imagining is reaching about existence, all of them are going to be treasures; you can understand this at your level of understanding. But when (Allah says,) “I am giving you a description about My Being—I was kuntu kanzan makhfiyya,” that word “kanzan” is from pre-Eternal to Eternal. No one can give a meaning or put a limit on it. Not only meanings, but the meanings they are carrying from real beings are nothing.

As long as we are trying to know more and more about the Lord’s Being, it will be impossible and difficult. But we must know that He has an existence and it never looks like the existence of creatures. His Existence is 100% different from Man’s being or a creature’s being. He is the Creator and He is never going to be like a creature.
