Sometimes a breath of fresh, foreign air will help you recover what you've lost in your home country, namely your fondness of it. No country is perfect, and someone else's culture will always look better than your own (grass is always greener, as we Americans put it) but always try to rule out the negatives and think about all of the things that make China great, like your traditional culture, rare wildlife, and magnificently unique landscapes. The beautiful things are always the ones which stand the test of time, such as many of the things which can only be found in your beautiful country. I understand that humanity ruins a lot of things, but be proud of what your country truly is, and not what the corrupt politicians and money-grabbers have tried to make it out to be.
Still, feel free to also leave your country and discover the world, learn new things, new experiences. That I do encourage.

I am American of European descent, with many Chinese friends both born in China and America. It is a very tough culture especially on women. I once dated a lady from Beijing and she had beautiful sisters still there, all single and never married in their late 30s. They would do much better in America.

If you can get out of China, you may just be better off.

Perhaps you could work for the Chinese government, if you become a top government official, then you could use your political powers to change the things you don’t like. Make China a better place.
