In class A 10 students 4 are men and 6 are women, class B has 16 men and an unknown number of women. If 2 students are randomly chosen and if we know that there is a 0.44 probability where both of the chosen students are of the same gender, how do I calculate the number of females in class B?

I think this question is ambiguous .
1) Choose 1 student from class A and choose 1 student from class B
2) Choose 2 students from the union of class A and class B
Which is correct ?
