I did my Biometrics yesterday & at the office they gave information about my account I can access to track my application status. As of today I login to my account it says:
“We reviewed your biometrics
You do not need to do anything at this time”
And under that it saying:
“Estimated wait time:
19 months”
I was shocked when I read this!!!! Could that take that long time to get my Interview Appointment??? Please if anyone know about Naturalizations Applications let me know ASAP!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!

Yes it does. I was on the K1 speed track and it took 3 or 4 years. Each form took say 6 months and if you made a mistake, you had to redo the form and go through another 6 months. The amazing thing is that they will get to it, and it will be done. We had some one in NYC steal the alien number and that was one of the rejections/reprocessing messes. One of the reasons it takes a long time is they want to be sure you really want to do it. That tracking number is reliable. We have seen it sit there for 10 years. If you have your green card, you are over the hump, so go on with your life and just do what they say. It is a way to let you know that you belong to Uncle Sam. But it does come to an end.

A lot of people have been applying for naturalization of late so your local office is probably just that busy.
